Apply to Volunteer with reParents

If you live in Northern Colorado and would like to volunteer to work one-on-one with a parent through the reParents program, you are in the right place!

We ask volunteers to commit to meeting one hour per week for six months. While some volunteers choose additional involvement, such as attending court appearances, this is not expected. Volunteers for reParents will never be expected to provide transportation for others, supervise visitation, or provide money or food. If/when such things are needed, volunteers will direct parents to other programs designed for that purpose.

Our video training course only takes a few hours, and ongoing support is provided throughout the program.

To sign up as a volunteer, please complete the form below! We will get back to you ASAP once you submit it!

TERMS AND CONDITIONS The primary purpose of the reParents program is to offer parents a dedicated support to maximize their chances to successfully reunify with their children or avoid removal in the first place. Our volunteers are not experts, and they have no say in case outcomes. However, they can offer a listening ear, a second set of eyes, and helpful perspectives to help parents reach their goals. Per reParents policy, volunteers are not allowed to give of their personal resources to provide: * Transportation * Visit supervision * Childcare * Money * Food * Etc. Instead, it is our goal to direct parents to other resources if/when there are needs in these areas so the relationship between the parent and volunteer is sustainable and protected. Form submission does not guarantee the request will be fulfilled. There is no guarantee of results. Volunteers for the reParents program agree to meet with parents for 1 hour per week for up to six months. At that point, the parent may request to extend their program participation, and the same volunteer may be used or a new one may be provided. Participants can terminate their program participation at any time. This program is completely free of cost. Once an interested participant is matched with a volunteer, an intake meeting will be scheduled, where the participant will sign a Hold Harmless Agreement, Release of Information, and Program Participation Agreement.

Thanks for submitting!
